The wide spaces of rural Victoria. All these images were taken approximately 400km from Melbourne.
This countryside is breathtakingly beautiful but also a harsh, strong and unforgiving place where there can be nothing but files and heat for 100’s of kilometres. The townships are built around the rural train infrastructure where huge, aging grain silo’s can be found at their centre.
In this series, I wanted to capture the lush colour and vastness of this rarely seen part of Australia.
